Head to Head Video Productions was created in 2007 as the corporate video production arm of Living Family Histories Ltd with the aim of offering a wide variety of high quality videos at value for money prices.
To augment their in-house team, Head To Head Video Productions contract out as required to the highly professional New Zealand broadcast and film community for camera and sound crews, directors, scriptwriters, video editors, motion graphics designers, voiceover talent and sound studio technicians.
The experienced Kiwi crews we employ ensure clients can be assured they receive a high quality end product. Head To Head Video Productions been shown to audiences in France, the U.K. and the USA.
Head To Head Video Productions are committed to operating with very low fixed overheads and charge out any production crews we use at cost and therefore we offer incredible value for money to clients. We’re enthusiastic, we love challenges, we’re very experienced project managers and we always deliver on time and on budget. We’re Auckland based but have filmed throughout the North and South Islands. Any travel is charged out at cost.
About Us
Before starting Head To Head Video Productions in 2007, Producer Peter Michel had 30 years experience as a Sales, Marketing and General Manager in New Zealand corporate companies. He has a BA in Statistics and a Diploma in Adult Education from Auckland University. His strengths are in project management, research, scriptwriting, filming and video editing and he is absolutely committed to delivering superlative customer service.
Camera Director, Lisa Burd, has over 12 years experience in filming, producing and directing for television and high end corporate clients. Lisa's experience includes providing news footage for TVNZ for the Taranaki area and she has worked on many television shows including four years as Field Producer for the Dancing With The Stars series and a Qantas award winning 'Best Informative Show' for Maori Television. Lisa's full length documentary, Changing Gear, was shown on the Documentary Channel in 2011 and was nominated for 'Best NZ Feature' at the Documentary New Zealand Film Festival. She is currently a preferred supplier Camera Director for Nga Pae O Te Maramatanga at the University of Auckland and Lisa and Peter are preferred video producers for the Te Kotahi Research Institute at Waikato University.
